CNBC today featured Honest Tea President Seth Goldman who was visibily happy with the performance Honest Tea has put in especially during this economic slowdown. The sales has apparently risen by 60% and future looking brighter as people are becoming more health conscious.

Honest Tea is a bottled organic tea companybased in Bethesda, Maryland. It was founded in 1998 by Seth Goldman and Barry Nalebuff. Honest Tea began with its first shipment of 15,000; ten years later the product is being distributed by the tens of thousands.

In the year of Honest Tea’s tenth anniversary in 2008, Coca-Cola bought 40% stake inHonest Tea. Coca-Cola has the option of buying Honest Tea in 2011. Honest tea is also the favorite brew of President Obama.
